My name is Adam Rogers and I am the proud parent of two La Habra City School District students and the proud husband of a public school teacher. I am passionate about supporting and developing our local public schools, serving the needs of our diverse student population, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are effectively utilized.
I have been proud to serve as a Governing School Board Member for the La Habra City School District for the last four years. In that time, our district has overcome some of the most challenging times education has ever faced. I am so proud of our incredible students, teachers, staff members, parents, and community members who have made our district such a special place.
For over 14 years, I have conducted research on important societal issues at a USC research institute. I have 22 years of management and community service experience including mentoring young leaders, encouraging adoption from foster care, responding to local and national disasters, and ensuring fair media coverage of marginalized communities.
I have a Master’s in Communication Management from USC and I graduated magna cum laude from Cal State LA in Political Science.
My family has benefited from the amazing staffs and programs at Washington Middle School, Sierra Vista, Ladera Palma, El Cerrito, Las Lomas and KidZone. Before joining the School Board, I volunteered on both School Site Council and the District Parent Advisory Committee, while my husband has served as Treasurer of our school’s PTA.
I’ve experienced firsthand the strengths and the struggles of our district. I will utilize my experience in our district and my dedication to excellence and innovation to help LHCSD become the top performing district in North Orange County.
